2024 WHS Royalty

Waseca Homecoming 2024 kicks off next week. Coronation is set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 26 at Waseca high school, when royalty will be crowned based on a vote of the student body grades 9-12. The new king and queen will reign over homecoming activities including the parade scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Friday starting at the Waseca County Fairgrounds. The homecoming football game will be at 7 p.m. Friday against the Jordan Hubmen.

Prior to homecoming week, a kick-off pep fest will be held during the school day on Friday, Sept. 29.
Schedule
Sunday, Sept. 22: A Bluejay Booster breakfast will be served at the American Legion Hall. Boosters, student council members and the homecoming court will be the hosts, offering a wide variety of breakfast staples from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children; toddlers are free.
Monday, Sept. 23: Dress Up Day – Class Colors
Tuesday, Sept. 24: Dress Up Day – Decades Day
Wednesday, Sept. 25: Dress Up Day – Dynamic Duo
Thursday, Sept. 26: Dress Up Day – Anything but a backpack; Coronation practice (during Connect); 7:30 p.m. Coronation, $2 admission; Court pictures after coronation in PAC; Student dance in the commons from 8:30 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 27: Dress-up day theme - Blue and gold day. 12:50 p.m. Pep rally. The homecoming parade begins at the Waseca County fairgrounds at 2 p.m. The Homecoming football game versus Jordan begins at 7 p.m. The Waseca Choir will serve walking tacos from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. prior to the homecoming game. The $8 cost includes a walking taco with toppings, cookie, and bottle of water.
