Fun fall festival

Sacred Heart gathering held September 16-18, 2022
The Sacred Heart Fall Festival happened September 16, 17, and 18, featuring fun activities including food, games, auctions, music, bingo, meat raffles, and much more.
This year’s Fall Festival celebrated its own beginning, which happened 50 years ago in 1972. The Fall Festival is one of the church’s major annual fundraisers.
Some events held in the big white tent which spanned the street over the weekend included the fish fry on Friday; bingo, burger fry, and street dance with guest band Los Tequileros on Saturday; and breakfast on Sunday.
Other happenings at the Fall Festival included the silent and live auctions, the white elephant sale, raffles, and children’s games including a kids’ carnival on Sunday.
While many people from the church volunteered their time and efforts to help with dinners, auctions, and much more, many others came to enjoy the warm atmosphere of the church under the big white tent as they milled about. Father Thé, Sacred Heart’s priest, even called the meat raffle!
