MEMBERS INDUCTED - A celebration at the Janesville Waldorf Pemberton auditorium on Wednesday, April 22, increased the district's National Honor Society membership by 10, inducting eight seniors and two juniors.  
 

National Honor Society inducts ten new JWP students

Ten students were inducted into the National Honor Society (NHS) during a ceremony in the Janesville Waldorf Pemberton (JWP) auditorium on Wednesday, April 22.
 
Teagan Knoblich, high school teacher and organizer for the event said, “These guys all maintained the highest level of standards in the National Honor Society core values of service, leadership, character and scholarship” to be selected. “These kids volunteer, they are leaders, they go the extra mile.” Eight seniors, Tyson Kronbach, Ayden Peterson, Dalton Ling, Clare Groh, Ma’liyah Petersen, Desirre Weis, Mathea Meyer and Avery Carda, and two juniors, Alysa Sheeran and Ethan Cowdin who were all inducted in the JWP auditorium and according to vice principal, David Rysdam, “The ceremony included family, friends, and a few teachers but anyone from the community was allowed to attend.”
 
All ten students, upon graduation, and under the condition they maintain all four of the Honor Society Standards, will receive a medallion and have an embossment added to their diplomas.
