Rostislavovich joins Waseca Arts Council

The Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council has recently appointed five new members to its board; among them is Waseca resident Mikhail Rostislavovich, who will represent the county of Waseca. Rostislavovich already serves on the board of directors for the Waseca Arts Council and the county historical society. He is president of the Waseca Exchange Club and a member of the Waseca Rotary. Over the past 40 years, Rostislavovich has worked side by side with international leaders and heads of state in various positions with both the federal and state governments. Here in Minnesota, he has held positions as a liaison officer for the bishop of the Episcopal Church of Minnesota, the governor, and lieutenant governors. He founded Veritas Et Lux, a private school in St. Peter. He is currently the president and chair for State Street Theater Company in New Ulm.
Also recently named to the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council board are Justin Ek representing North Mankato; Moni Harper representing Fairmont; Michael Looft of Winthrop to  represent Sibley County; and Dave Wahl of Springfield representing Brown County. 
Justin Ek is an artist from Mankato who is known for his community murals, paintings, social media presence, intricate weavings, and his work with youth and nonprofits in the area. Moni Harper is a lifelong resident of Martin County and a graduate of Mankato (now Minnesota) State University with a BS in Business Administration Marketing and Management.  Dave Wahl is a Navy Veteran, accomplished DIY'er, and jack of all trades whose many talents include singer, actor, and former musician.  Michael Looft is the City Administrator for the City of Winthrop.
