Rostislavovich resigns from Chamber of Commerce Board

WASECA, Minn. — Mikhail Rostislavovich has announced his resignation as President and member of the Board of Directors of the Waseca Area Chamber of Commerce, citing the need to prioritize his health and personal well-being. 

 

Rostislavovich formally submitted his resignation following his dedicated leadership and service to the organization and broader Waseca community.

 

During his tenure alongside Robin Dulas, the Chamber experienced significant momentum in membership engagement, advocacy efforts, financial stability, organizational visibility, and community partnerships. Under his leadership, the Chamber also undertook efforts focused on modernization, operational sustainability, and strengthening organizational systems intended to position the organization for long-term success.

 

Rostislavovich became especially known for his passion for developing emerging leaders, helping businesses grow and connect within the community, and encouraging greater member involvement throughout the Chamber. They worked extensively to create meaningful committees, identify individual strengths, and help members find places where they could contribute, succeed, and grow as community leaders themselves.

 

“Serving the Chamber and this community has been an incredible honor,” said Rostislavovich. “I am deeply proud of the progress that was made and grateful for the many members, volunteers, community partners, and business leaders who worked alongside me during this chapter. At this time, however, I need to step back and focus on my health and personal well-being, while trying to remain an active member of our community.”

 

Rostislavovich also expressed appreciation for the opportunity to help guide the organization during a period of growth and transition. Executive Director Robin Dulas stated, “it has been a pleasure to work with Mikhail and I have learned so much.”

 

Rostislavovich went on to say, “I have always believed strongly in building organizations that are sustainable, accountable, and positioned for the future,” he said. “But more importantly, I believe in helping people succeed. Watching young leaders step into their own abilities, helping members become more engaged, and seeing businesses build stronger connections within the community has been one of the most rewarding parts of this experience. I remain thankful for everyone who supported those efforts and for the relationships built throughout my time with the Chamber.”
