Sunflowers at Autumn Acres

A lively field of sunflowers was in bloom at Janesville’s Autumn Acres Farm, which was open to the public from August 3 to 14. Visitors were invited to take pictures with and of the sunflowers and enjoy their natural beauty.

Visitors also got to enjoy the relaxing ambiance of the field through two sessions of Yoga in the Sunflowers, which took place the evenings of August 10 and 11.

Autumn Acres Farm is owned and operated by local couple Cheryl and Chad Bleess, who since purchasing their original plot of land from Cheryl’s grandparents in 2009, have grown it from a small family farm into an ever-expanding fall wonderland.

The sunflowers’ bloom came before the farm's typical fall season, which will see the pumpkin patch opening on September 10. On September 24, Autumn Acres Farm will be hosting a Fall Festival featuring a variety of vendors, musical performances, and refreshments.

One more addition to the Autumn Acres events calendar this year is a ticketed Fall Date Night at The Farm, on the evening of October 14.
