Waseca School Board retains same officers as 2025

During the Jan. 8 organizational meeting, Waseca school board members voted to retain the same officers as in 2025: Dave Dun as board chair;  Grant Scheffert as vice chair; Scott Deml as treasurer, and Alyssa Bowers as clerk. The designated board representatives for school business committees were determined; the official newspaper remains the Waseca County Pioneer. Board member Per Diems and other allowance remained unchanged.

 

The board approved the final 2024-2025 audited financial statements, approved the 2025-2027 Master Agreement with school principals, and approved the resolution ratifying the award of sale of general obligation school building refunding bonds. The refunding of these bonds will save district property taxpayers more than $400,000 in the coming years.
