JWP graduates the class of 2026

The Janesville Waldorf Pemberton (JWP) 2026 high school graduation ceremony took place the evening of Friday, May 22. The processional was “Pomp and Circumstance” and the graduates certainly had plenty of both as they made their way down the aisle.

 

After the national anthem, Principal David Rysdam gave opening remarks. Under the leadership of director Adam Hille, the JWP Band played “Defying Gravity” before class Valedictorian  Katelyn Olson gave her final speech as a high school senior. The choir sang “May it Be” under the leadership of district vocal music director Joshua Sorenson before class Salutatorian Daulton Bauer gave his final speech.

Once all 52 students had received their diplomas, Principal Rysdam presented the class as the students moved their tassels to the other sides of their caps. The final song was “Auld Lang Syne” before the group was dismissed. Many parents and family lingered for group photos and congratulations. Some students needed to retrieve their caps from various places on the floor in the gym where they had been thrown in celebration.
