Charlene Briese

Charlene Louise Briese, age 50 of Waseca, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at her home.

Charlene was born on May 1, 1973, in Mankato. She was the daughter of David and Cathy (Fortney) Briese. She attended school at South Central High School. She was a very kindhearted, creative, caring, and personable person, who always put others before herself. She had a great sense of humor, and she really enjoyed her arts and crafts. She was raised Lutheran and was very devoted to her faith. 

Charlene is survived by her mother, Cathy; her children, Ryan Briese (Abby Sargent), and Alejandra Briese all of Waseca; siblings, George (Misty) Briese of Eagle Grove, Iowa, Gaile (Dan) Schwickrath of Platteville, Wisconsin, and David (Lisa) Briese of Webster City, Iowa; nieces and nephews, Walter, Josh, Cole, Justin, Nicolle, and George. She was preceded in death by her father.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
