Lisa Anne Beschnett

Lisa Anne Scheuerman Beschnett, 61, of Owatonna, passed away on July 17, 2025.

Lisa was born February 11, 1964, in Minneapolis to Thomas and Jean Scheuerman. She graduated from Stillwater High School, earned her degree from the University of Wisconsin, and completed her Master’s in Art Education at the University of Minnesota. She married Bil Beschnett in 1996 and dedicated her life to mentoring and teaching youth through Young Life, Trinity Lutheran Church, and as an art teacher in the Austin and Owatonna schools.

 

She is survived by her husband, Bil; mother, Jean Scheuerman MacDonald; and siblings: Susan (Brad) of Richfield, MN; David (Heather) of Lakeland, MN; Michael (Kelly) of Bend, OR; Tony (Zina) of Woodbury, MN; Sarah (Joe) of Edina, MN; Cuong (Tiffany) of Inver Grove Heights, MN; and Sharm (Lisa) of Claremont, CA; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas J. Scheuerman.

 

A visitation will be held Friday, July 25, 2025, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at Brick-Meger Funeral Home (1603 Austin Road, Owatonna). Visitation will continue at Trinity Lutheran Church (609 Lincoln Avenue, Owatonna) Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
