Mary Shouts

MARY JANE SHOUTS (LAMONT) age 65, of Waseca, died on October 18, 2023, at her home. 

Born on September 16, 1958 in Waseca, Mary was the daughter of Floyd and Patsy (Russell) LaMont. She attended Waseca High School and graduated with the class of 1977. On September 28, 1979, Mary was united in marriage to William Shouts and together they made their home in Waseca. Mary was employed by Brown Printing and worked there for 34 years. 

Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. Her friends and family were her world. She enjoyed spending time catching up with old classmates, having lunch with her sisters, and taking care of her sons. She especially cherished the time she would spend with her granddaughter. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.  

Mary is survived by sons, William Shouts, and Patrick (Carrie) Shouts; and granddaughter. She is also survived by her siblings, Tom LaMont, Barb (Dan) Klampe, Lori Schneidewind, Susan Seeley, and Julie (Kevin) Sass; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Shouts; parents, Floyd and Patsy LaMont; sister, Denise LaMont; brother, Steven LaMont; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William Shouts and Jeanette Beyer; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law.

Memorial service was at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Faith United Methodist Church in Waseca with Rev. Jon Schultz officiating. Visitation was two hours prior to the service at the church. A private family interment will be in Woodville Cemetery.
