Paul Lienke

Paul Henry Lienke, 72, of Ashland, Nebraska, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born November 30, 1951 in Waseca, Minnesota, to John and Eileen (Prail) Lienke. Paul graduated from Waldorf-Pemberton High School and Mankato State University. He served his country in the U.S. Army until he was honorably discharged. On December 29, 1989, Paul was married to Jeanine Ness in Iowa City, Iowa.
Paul worked as an office manager for several construction companies throughout the country. He also worked for the City of Ashland and S&L Hardware in Ashland. Paul was a city council member and past mayor of Ashland. He was a member of the American Legion Post Number 129.
Paul was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Gophers fan. He enjoyed gardening, collecting antiques and all types of bears. He had a hearty laugh and always made people feel happy.
He is survived by his siblings Gary (Eleanor) Lienke, David (Geraldine) Lienke, Wesley (Sharyn) Lienke, Ione Lienke and Theola (Daniel) Doss, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanine Lienke, and by his parents, John and Eileen Lienke.
